Primer 3 is a specially formulated primer for use with addition and condensation / moisture curing 1K and 2K RTV silicone sealants and elastomers. This primer imparts good adhesion to most metals, natural and synthetic rubber, polyester and nylon fabrics. It is recommended as a primer for use on non-porous surfaces. In some cases, this product has also been found to act as a barrier to substrates that usually cause inhibition to platinum cure systems. For all new applications, it is recommended that customers carry out small-scale tests to determine the suitability of the primer and the strength of bond produced.
