Momentive TSE352 Flit Plug Silicone Encapsulant – Room-Temperature Curing Encapsulant for Mining Cable Couplers

TSE352 Flit Plug Silicone Encapsulant is a two-component, ready-to-mix silicone rubber system specifically formulated for flameproof cable coupling and electrical encapsulation in underground mining applications. Once mixed (in a 100:2 ratio by weight), it cures at room temperature upon exposure to ambient moisture, forming a flexible, durable, and electrically insulating elastomer that protects critical connections from dust, moisture, vibration, and arcing.

Designed for reliability in harsh environments, TSE352 features low viscosity for excellent flowability, visual mixing confirmation (light pink catalyst blends into a uniform light grey), and repairability. Cured material can be cut away and replaced without requiring the full system to be disassembled. Its elastomeric flexibility accommodates cable movement while maintaining seal integrity, making it ideal for rugged industrial use.
