HANSA CARE 2255 – High-Solids Cationic Silicone Additive for Enhanced Surface Performance

HANSA CARE 2255 is a quaternary-modified organosiloxane engineered as a high-performance additive for car care, rinse aids, and sanitary cleaning formulations. Supplied as a colourless to yellowish liquid with approximately 70% active solids, it delivers a powerful combination of water repellency, sheeting action, gloss enhancement, and easy-clean functionality on a wide range of surfaces, including glass, porcelain, chrome, painted finishes, and plastics.

Its permanent cationic charge ensures strong surface affinity, enabling uniform distribution and long-lasting effects even in rinse-off applications. HANSA CARE 2255 also acts as a booster for co-formulated actives, improving their deposition and performance. The result is a beading effect, improved colour depth, and a silky-smooth finish—ideal for premium cleaning and detailing products.
