HANSA CARE 4150 – Reactive Silicone Resin Additive for Durable Water Repellency and High-Gloss Protection
HANSA CARE 4150 is a colourless to yellowish liquid formulation containing reactive silicone resins and functional silicones dissolved in an aliphatic solvent. With approximately 47% active solids, it is engineered to enhance durability, water repellency, gloss, and detergent resistance in high-performance car care, floor care, and surface protection formulations.
Unlike non-reactive silicones, HANSA CARE 4150 forms crosslinked, film-forming protective layers that resist washing, UV exposure, and chemical cleaners, making it ideal for long-lasting sealants, polishes, and impregnation treatments. It can be effectively combined with amino-functional silicones to create premium, weather-resistant finishes for automotive, wood, and mineral surfaces.
